DAY 1: Tokyo Arrival

Welcome to Tokyo, the capital city of Japan! Upon arrival, make your own way to the hotel and complete check-in at your 4-star hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure to relax and recover from your journey, or explore the surrounding area at your own pace.

DAY 2: Tokyo – Shibuya Crossing & Hidden Streets Walking Tour

Today, enjoy a guided walking tour through one of Tokyo’s most iconic districts, Shibuya. Discover the vibrant energy of the city as you explore famous landmarks and hidden streets. Begin at Shibuya Station and see “The Myth of Tomorrow” mural, then experience the world-famous Shibuya Crossing. Continue to Nonbei Yokocho, Miyashita Park, and Center Gai, before walking through Maruyama-cho’s nightlife area. End the tour at the Hachiko Statue, a symbol of loyalty and one of Tokyo’s most beloved meeting points. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

DAY 3: Tokyo – Free Day

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Tokyo. You may explore the city at your own pace, go shopping, visit nearby attractions, or simply relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. Tokyo offers endless experiences, from traditional temples and cultural spots to modern shopping districts and entertainment areas.

DAY 4: Tokyo – Mt. Fuji & Hakone Explorer Day Tour with lunch

Today, enjoy a full-day excursion from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji and Hakone, one of Japan’s most iconic natural and cultural destinations. Start your journey from Shinjuku and head towards Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station, offering stunning panoramic views from 2,300 meters above sea level. Continue to Ōwakudani volcanic valley to witness active geothermal landscapes and try the famous black eggs.

After lunch, ride the Hakone Ropeway and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and Lake Ashi. Then, relax on a scenic cruise across Lake Ashi. At the end of the tour, you will disband at Hakone Yumoto Station or Odawara Station. For selected plans, you may continue your journey back to Tokyo via bullet train.

Hakone to Kyoto

For the next journey, you will continue your trip independently by taking the Shinkansen Hikari 649 from Odawara Station to Kyoto Station. After being dropped off at Odawara, proceed to the station and board the bullet train for a comfortable and efficient journey to Kyoto. Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, you will continue to your 4 star hotel for check-in and overnight stay on your own arrangement.

DAY 5: Kyoto – Geisha District Walking Tour in Gion (Small Group)

In the afternoon, join a guided walking tour through Kyoto’s historic Gion district, the heart of traditional geisha culture. Meet your expert local guide at Yasaka Shrine and begin exploring the charming streets filled with wooden teahouses and lantern-lit alleys. Continue through iconic spots such as Tatsumi Shrine, Gion Shirakawa, and Hanamikoji Street, where you may even spot a geiko or maiko. Learn about the history, traditions, and lifestyle of geisha while enjoying the atmospheric beauty of old Kyoto. The tour ends at Gion Kōbu Kaburenjō Theater. After the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

DAY 6: Kyoto – Osaka (Kansai Area Pass Activated)

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel in Kyoto, continue your journey to Osaka using the Kansai Area Pass. Enjoy flexible travel on JR and selected private railway lines as you make your way to Japan’s vibrant city of Osaka.

Upon arrival in Osaka, proceed with hotel check-in at 3 star and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You may explore the lively surroundings of Umeda, try local street food, or simply relax after your journey.

Transport: Kansai Area Pass (JR West & selected rail lines, non-Shinkansen)

Accommodation: Moxy Osaka Umeda (or similar) – Guest Room Queen City View

DAY 7: Osaka – Kuromon Market Food Tour & Departure

After breakfast and check-out (or luggage storage at the hotel), join a guided walking food tour at Kuromon Market, one of Osaka’s most famous food streets.

Explore the vibrant market atmosphere while tasting local specialties such as takoyaki, wagyu, sushi, and seasonal street food. Continue the walk through Hozenji Temple and enjoy the lively streets of Dotonbori with its iconic neon lights and canals.

After the tour, you will have free time before the end of the day. End of trip with memorable experiences from Japan.

• Between 15 and 8 days before tour start date: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
